Sunday, February 7th - Start of term 2 (Super Bowl Sunday ain't a big thing around here!)

We had a busy quiet week this past week. We went out to the Shangrila Hotel to see Russell Peters perform on Monday night. It was an outdoor venue, which was very nice as the temperature was around 21 degrees. The show was very good and it was also nice to hear a comedian speaking our own language, where we didn't have to ask "What did he say?", because of the accent!

Tuesday was our last day of work for the week as it was our mid-year break; a 4 day weekend that was most welcomed. We didn't travel anywhere but we did spend some time at the Crowne, by the pool, getting some work done (a little bit), went to the movies to see "Concussion" and went to the Muscat Festival on Saturday at Naseem Park. It is a very nice park but all the activities were for young children, which we knew before going. But since we had gone to the other venue last year, we figured we'd check it out.

It was back at work Sunday with an inset day (PD day). The whole day was set up to be spent outside, which was nice. It was a pretty good day.
