Our day started with a good breakfast at camp followed by a morning drive to the Ndutu Plains in the southern Serengeti region. Our cook had us stop on the way to buy green bananas that would be part of one of our future meals.

On our way, we had to drive by the rim of the Ngorongoro crater, which we will visit on our last day. There was a scenic lookout that allowed us to have a peak (no pun intended) at what we'll see then. Here's what it looked like.

We continued our drive to the Ndutu Plains and then into the southern part of the Serengeti. Wildebeast were abundant, as were zebras and antilopes. After driving all day and having our driver change two flat tires, we got to camp as the sun was going down. We helped our driver set up the tents while our cook was getting dinner ready. While we waited for the meal to be ready, we had the pleasure of watching girafes graze by our camp site. It was pretty cool!
