Jacqui had a 4 day weekend at the start of March, so we packed our bags, again, and travelled to Bali (Legian), Indonesia. We booked a resort on the west side of the island, so we could see the sunsets; I'm not a sunrise person, as I normally sleep when the sun rises! It was a wonderful weekend. The beach was great; probably the nicest beach we have ever seen (Maldives would be up there too!), and a lot of people were surfing. It was our first time on a beach where people actually surf. It looks like a lot of fun, once you know what your doing! The people were very friendly, there was no language barrier, the food was very good, the balinese massages were awesome, and so cheap, and Jacqui fell in love with the red dragon, a drink which has red dragon fruit in it. I must admit that it is pretty good! We spent our days (really only two full days) walking the beach, sitting by the pool, getting massages, ... you know, the tough life.
Bali was a place on our bucket list; well it still is as we have to go back - that's how amazing it was!!
