Tuesday, March 31st - Wadi Shab with Julie

Julie got in on Sunday morning at 4 am. We picked her up at the airport and were back home shortly after 5, which gave us more than enough time to get ready to go to work. Our plan is to let her rest for two days and then we'll take some time off and do things with her. And that is exactly what we did. We went to work on Sunday and Monday, while she slept and tried to get adjusted to the different time zone (8 hours). We went out for dinner but that was it for our outings in Muscat for the first two days. Even though we haven't started touring with her, it's still very nice to have her here!

I took Tuesday off and Julie and I went to Wadi Shab. We drove Jacqui to work then travelled south of Muscat for about 90 minutes to get there. We stopped at a sinkhole along the way; it was pretty cool. We walked all the way down (there are stairs) and Julie put her feet in the water for a bit. We then continued our journey to Wadi Shab. The walk there was easier than the first time I went with Jacqui, even though it was much warmer as I had a better idea of where the trail is! Julie found the place quite impressive, and rightly so! We got back to Muscat in time to pick Jacqui up from school. It was a very nice day!

  1. It is so nice to see Julie there with you guys. She looks great! Even looks no different than when I had her in my class in grade 6. Enjoy your time with her.
