Saturday, April 19th - We are in London

We got up at 4 am to catch our flight at 8:30. A 6 hours flight got us into London at about 12:30 local time. Passport control took almost an hour, then a train to the city and we were at our hotel by 3 pm. Location was great as we were within walking distance of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. We also enjoyed walking by St-James Park; it was very beautiful. Weatherwise, it was sunny but cool. After our return to the hotel, we skyped with our family who was having their Easter dinner at Rich and Jackie's place. It would have been nice to be there as well, but our time in London will sure be fun and it's a small price to pay for being away from this family gathering.
