We had booked a food tour for today. Wasn't sure how that would turn out but it was great! We were in the East side of town, away from the beaten path - but if they keep up with these tours, they will be on the beaten path! We visited 8 different places in 4 hours, and 3 of them are amongst the top 100 places to eat in London. We started out by eating a bacon sandwich, then a bread pudding, followed by french cheeses, fish and chips, two beer tasters in a very neat pub, then the country's national dish, curry (one vegetable, one chicken and a lamb curry). We then continued and had a wonderful corned beef bagel and finished with a delicious dessert. After the tour, we went walking in the downtown area and then went back to the East side for dinner. It was great; what a nice area. So many pubs, restaurants, artistic galleries, ... it was very uplifting.
