We left the hotel around 7:30 am and walked to Victoria Coach Station - a 50 minute walk to got us over the river, by Big Ben, the Westminster Abbey and some very nice buildings. We boarded a tour bus and went to Windsor Castle. The Queen was there but she didn't seem to have an opening for us in her schedule. The place was however pretty amazing. We looked at the doll house, the apartments and the chapel. It was all very impressive. We then went to Bath, a small city where they used to have Roman Baths (because of a hot spring feeding them). That town was very quaint and it would have been nice to spend more time. The roman baths are dating back to more than 2000 years ago! We finished by travelling to Stonehenge, which is pretty impressive in itself. But by that time, it was raining and cold and I'm sure we did not appreciate it as much as we should have. We got back to London around 8 pm, after having travelled over 500 Km. It was a very informative day; we enjoyed it thoroughly.
