Tuesday, October 1st - Visit to Salmiya

Another typical day at work. Jacqui went for a haircut in the afternoon. She was very happy with the cut she had. I think she finally found someone that can cut short hair and do a decent job. Only problem is its far from our place, but we seem to have some time on our hands, so ... Afterwards, we ended up in Salmiya, another neighbourhood, close to downtown, where some of our teacher colleagues live. It's a much nicer area than ours, with plenty of restaurants and lots of place to see and things to do (as opposed to our neck of the woods where there isn't much). We even visited a buiding that was build like a full blown sail. It was kind of cool. We came home shortly before 9 pm and called it a night (which is why this piece of the blog is written almost a day later).
