School was
fine. I finally found out what I’ll be teaching – grades 10, 11 and 12. I’ve
never really done the grade 12 course but I am familiar with most of the
concepts. It might give me a bit more work, but it’s a nice challenge. Jacqui
is getting ready for Sunday; that is when the students from grade 4 are coming
in. I imagine we’ll have to go to school on Saturday so she can finish her
class preparation.
In the
evening, we went to the Hyatt Hotel to check out their gym. The drive there was
very nice as we drove by the beach for a while and we almost didn’t get lost on
the way (a couple of wrong turns but nothing major). The hotel is very
beautiful but their beach is a public beach, as opposed to a private beach,
which means that Jacqui could not wear her normal bathing suits. So that ain’t
gonna work. We had dinner at one of their restaurants, then came back home and
called it a week!
